Personalized fun.
Here’s something totally cool we want to share with you!! It’s called HazelMail. It turns your iPhone/iPod Touch photos into REAL postcards—from your phone!! No matter where you are, you can snap a pic and send a beautiful, personalized color postcard! We LOVE this app!
And Hazel prints, stamps and mails them for you…from anywhere in the world (where mail is delivered)!!!
Let’s say you’re frolicking in Paris and you take a picture of your family at the Eiffel Tower. All you have to do is type in your message and destination address and HazelMail prints it and mails it for you!! You just have to download the app (HazelMail.com) to use it. The first postcard is free, then you buy HazelBucks to use as currency to send additional postcards–and they’re a bargain too–only a buck to send!! (You can’t buy a postcard and mail it for that price!)
Yep. It’s a beautiful bargain. We like the idea of using it for birthdays, invitations, holiday cards, etc. (You can send postcards from your desktop too.) It’s rare these days that you stumble upon a great find…we are happy to share it with you! Have fun. Let us know what you think of the experience–our testers love it—said it was easy AND fast.
One more thing. When you go to www.HazelMail.com, check out dear Hazel…she’s a hoot!

Rob seaver talks to the camera.
Thanks to videographer extraordinaire, Scott Foreman from Jobing.com, we had a blast filming our company video yesterday. While Scott shot video, we took stills of the process. Click here to enjoy them.
We began the process with scripts in hand, but by the time we started shooting, Scott had convinced us to talk to him as though we were at the kitchen table enjoying a cup of coffee. That was great advice, as our on-camera interviews flowed with passion and authenticity. Great direction, Scott!!
Now stay tuned for the video…coming soon to a blog near you!!

We’re feeling a little bit like the famous WWII Blue Ghost these days. The USS Lexington (aka the Blue Ghost), an aircraft carrier rumored sunk by Japan four times, stood tall throughout WWII and was just decommissioned in 1991. Never sank. Not even close. But Japan’s persistent rumors had the world questioning the USS Lexington’s buoyancy. The Blue Ghost hung in there until technology dictated its retirement as a museum piece and a WWII hero.
We’ve fielded a handful of calls from concerned customers who “just learned” that we had sold our equipment to a company in Mexico and will be closing our doors any minute now. (Imagine the shock of getting these calls!!) We put our heads together trying to figure out where the bad news was originating. A disgruntled employee perhaps? What about a business that has a similar name as ours? Bingo. A little detective work and we discovered R and R Printers that’s located just a few blocks from our plant is winding down their business and has sold equipment to a Mexican company recently. Mystery solved for R and R Images.
We are stronger than ever and are committed to being the premier marketing solutions provider in Arizona. For those of you who continue to think we are a commercial printer, we can understand how the similarities of our names—R and R Images/R and R Printers—could bring you to believe that our doors were closing. With the volume of Arizona printers closing their doors, the concept of another one biting the dust certainly is feasible. Be assured, we are alive and thriving and we wish the best to R and R Printers.
Just like the Blue Ghost of WWII, we’re here to stay.
This was the first burn, posted on August 19. Click here to read about the second burn–the fire.
